Membership
Glasgow Hackerspace operates a membership model. Becoming a member gives you access to the space, and voting rights in company meetings.
Becoming a member
We are now accepting membership applications. If you want to become a member:
- Talk to an organiser at a meetup.
- Fill out a membership form and hand it to a board member.
- Membership applications are at the discretion of the board, who will meet and either approve or reject applications.
Membership requests are much more likely to be approved if you have attended some events, so come down to an open day or two and say hi, and share your interests!
Membership costs £25 per month, though you can pay more to support the space and its growth. If that is out of your budget, please chat to a board member - we can offer significantly reduced membership costs if, for example, you are a student or unemployed.
There are no tiers to membership, and every member shares the same rights, regardless of the amount they pay in membership dues.
